Nymphicus is a desktop client for the quite popular microblogging service Twitter. It’s main design goals are being a native application (so no Java oder Adobe Air will be needed to be installed separately) using the modern technologies on both supported plattforms (which are .NET on Windows and Cocoa on Mac OS X).
The program is commercial, but there is a fully featured unrestricted demo version that you can test for as long as you want before you buy the full version, which at the time of this writing costs 3.99 euros.
